Company

Hand Art has been in business since 1955 serving three generations of customers. We specialize in a superb selection of embroidered linens including tablecloths in all sizes and shapes, as well as runners, place mats, doilies, guest towels, rollcovers, tissue holders and ladies hankies.

We offer a very large selection of embroidered blouses and dresses for adults and children from all over Mexico. We have embroidered shirts for newborns as well as the famous Guayabera shirts for men and women and even boys sizes.

We also carry handmade items from all over Mexico such as shawls, rebozos, woven belts, lenscases, coinpurses and woven tapestries.

Delivery Of Your Goods

All items purchased from HAND ART are made pursuant to a shipment contract. We provide tracking information to follow-up on your delivery. Please contact us immediately if there are problems with the delivery of your order.

Product Descriptions

HAND ART attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, HAND ART does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by HAND ART itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

Payment Methods

During checkout you can select from different payment methods. It is possible to pay through direct deposit into our bankaccount. Credit card payments are processed through Paypal. We do not hold any credit card information ourselves.

If you plan to pickup your order yourself at the shop, you can also pay upon pickup with cash, cheque, debit card (bancontact/maestro) or with Visa or Master Card credit cards.

Your order

After you have completed and confirmed your order, you will receive an automatic email confirming the prices of the products ordered, as well as delivery cost and choosen payment method.

A (paid) invoice is added to the shipment if shipping and billing address are the same. If different, the invoice is sent separately, and only a delivery note (without pricing details) is added to the shipment.

Right of return of goods

The consumer has the right to give notice to the seller that he would like to cancel the sale, without having to pay a fine, or having to justify the return, within 7 days counting as of the day following the delivery of the goods (or closure of the contract for services).

Please Note, you are liable for the shipment costs unles the product is defect, or does not confirm to the specifications of the product as published on our website.

Upon return, you have the option to get a substitute (free shipping), or to get a refund for the goods and associated shipping costs.

Warranty and service

All electrical appliances come with a 2 year warranty. If your order is incomplete or damaged, please contact us immediately so we can start the procedure with the shipping company, and replace the product as soon as possible.

Our service department is also available for advise and reparations, during as well as after the warrantee period.

Applicable Law

By visiting HAND ART, you agree that the laws of the state of Belgium, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and HAND ART.

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to HAND ART or to products you purchase through HAND ART shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Belgium, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate HAND ARTs intellectual property rights, HAND ART may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the state of Belgium, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
